My capstone project for the Educational
Computing Graduate Certificate at the College of Saint Rose was the
creation of the Techssentials
website to provide teachers and technology specialists with resources
for integrating technology. Another resource developed to promote
technology integration was the
Learning Keys web resource.
While at the College of Saint. Rose, I
also created the Bird
Seekers WebQuest, which is an Internet based learning activity for
primary students.
One of my accomplishments at New England College
was compiling the NEC EdLinks
Teacher Resource Directory. This was a directed study project
accomplished during the summer of 2000. In December 2000 the site won the
Digital Librarian's Award from Argus Clearing House.
In August of 2001, I developed Web
Tutorial Learning Packets for a technology grant at New England
College.
During the spring semester of 2002,
I compiled an annotated list of web resources on violence
prevention and safe schools for use with school improvement
initiatives.
These projects provided good opportunities
for collaboration with other educators.
